The Reproducibility of Computational Research Community of Practice

About Us

The advancement of scientific knowledge is driven by the ability to reproduce research findings. While there is agreement about the importance of reproducibility and a growing number of related initiatives, most researchers, however, still do not incorporate reproducibility practices in their research work, and reproducibility remains an afterthought. The goal of this initiative is to build a community of practice for the reproducibility of computational research. It also aims to create a community-driven approach to developing support services to expand the user base, ways to lower barriers for capturing reproducible artifacts while doing research, and brainstorm how to work as a community to build an ecosystem of tools to support reproducibility.
